It would be extremely helpful to your District and Unit Command staff if you did not have any mandatory training during the summer months. Every year the entire department is short on manpower due to the numerous events during the summer, vacations, and increased incidents of violence. Training conducted September through May would decrease the manpower burden placed on all units. Thank you for your consideration.
